Aquiss has announced a reduction in price for their
1Gbps Fully Managed Business Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) “full
fibre” broadband products to £330 per month (500Mbps also available at £275 per
month).
Furthermore, Aquiss GPON services fully support the government's
Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme, giving a grant of £2500 towards the service.
Aquiss are also further contributing £250 towards all installs, giving a
further monthly discount of £76.00 from list pricing (This brings 500Mbps down
to £199 a month).
Customers of the “fully managed” service, which is now
available in 22 towns and cities across the United Kingdom (Aberdeen,
Bracknell, Bradford, Bristol, Coventry, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Gloucester,
Huddersfield, Leeds, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Maidenhead, Northampton,
Nottingham, Peterborough, Reading, Rotherham, Sheffield, Southend and
Wakefield), will receive an uncontended unlimited usage service, a 5 hour
return to Service Level Agreement (SLA), Static IP address, 36 month contract
and a free installation (including all the needed customer hardware). Service
setup (lead time) typically takes 45 working days and this includes any site
survey work required.
Aquiss GPON is an extremely effective way for businesses to
benefit from the exceptionally high speed and reliability provided by a full
fibre connection, at a relatively low price point compared to other access
methods. As such it is positioned between hybrid fibre/copper or FTTP broadband
and more costly fibre Ethernet options such as dedicated leased lines.
Martin Pitt, Managing Director of Aquiss said "As a
full fibre service akin to a fibre leased line, our GPON solution provides
essential benefits to business customers. Unlimited usage, and the absence of
upgrade charges and downtime when accessing up to Gigabit speeds gives you the
flexibility you may seek; while our comprehensive Service Level Agreement,
rapid return to service guarantee from our technical specialists underpins your
need for reliability and connected confidence."
