How do I cancel my account with Aquiss?

In the unlikely event that you wish to cancel your account with Aquiss, there are 2 ways you can cancel. Please bare in mind that in all circumstances we require 14 days notice to cancel your account.

Cancelling your service via email:
Send this to accounts@aquiss.net outlining your full name, address, postcode and the username of the account which you wish to cancel.

Cancelling your service via letter:
Simply pop a letter in the post outlining your full name, address, postcode and the username of the account which you wish to cancel.

Post your letter to:

Broadband Cease Charges
Where no MAC Key is requested or used to migrate (move) to another ISP, broadband services will be cancelled (ceased) instead. When this applies a Broadband Cease Charge charge will be incurred (by BT Openreach, but passed on via an ISP). This charge covers the cost of disconnecting your broadband at the local telephone exchange. The charges to do this is £40.00 inc VAT. This charge needs to be settled and paid in full prior to your departure from Aquiss to avoid further charges. We always recommend a MAC Key, where possible.

Please Note We are aware of many examples of staff from call centres of other ISPs claiming that they will handle the move for you, so you don't need a MAC Key, which stops you getting charged. THEY WILL NOT! Claims of such are incorrect. You should ALWAYS request a MAC Key if moving an active broadband service to another ISP. Any ISP who claims otherwise should be avoided as staff have been incorrectly trained.
